In Which Betsy and Wetsy go to the Zoo

One day Betsy and Wetsy went to the zoo. Betsy was excited to see the lions. She hoped they would eat someone. Wetsy was excited to see the pandas. But when a panda came out of its den, Wetsy wet herself. 

After Betsy cleaned up Wetsy, they went next door to the chimpanzees. The chimpanzees all frolicked to Wetsy. They jumped up and down excitedly and pointed at the bows in her hair. 

Betsy glared. Wetsy wet herself. A security guard helped clean up Wetsy, and then they went to see the lions. 

Outside the lions den, Wetsy cried and wet herself at the same time. Betsy was so entranced by the lions that she didn't even notice. The security guard, who had followed them from the chimpanzee cage, cleaned Wetsy up again and then asked Betsy where their parents were. 

Betsy contemplated running away, but decided that would be too much plot conflict, and so she told the security guard she didn't know. 

The security guard took Betsy and Wetsy to the main office and paged their parents over the intercom. He made Wetsy sit on a towel. 

When Betsy and Wetsy's parents arrived, they sent Betsy to the car and took Wetsy to the gift shop to pick out toys. 

And that was Betsy and Wetsy's day at the zoo.
