Fuzzy hats, bunny ears, and sequined pants were sported, whisky was consumed, many a joke was made, the ponies were juggled, and we rocked all of the songs we had prepared.
The only unfortunate things were that we wished we had prepared more songs, since the audience was up and dancing and revved up once we reached the end of our set. Also, the sound system suffered no matter how many times we all yelled back to the guy in the booth to turn it up.
But all in all we had a grand old time and our friends from the hostel came, and I especially enjoyed making new friends and fans, mostly girls like me who get overly excited about sparkly things and stuffed animals and dressing up and boys, and who invite us to pie and waffle parties.
I foresee Liz O Show after-parties being a big fiesta of balloons and glitter, with all the groupies jumping around high on sugar and eventually passing out on the gigantic stuffed bear.
Speaking of the bear, it was a particularly exciting night for him as he got to take two cab rides across the city, and was almost driven off by the impatient cabbie on the first. It gave me great satisfaction to see the reactions of everyone on the street and a passing bus as we carted him nonchalantly, along with a crate full of ponies, crazy hats, art, and other paraphernalia, across the street.

So that was the debut of the Liz O Show and I can't wait to get onstage again!
